Curt Gowdy State Park
Another excellent location to visit if you’re itching to get outdoors is Curt Gowdy State Park. Located at the foothills of the Laramie Mountains, this park is the ideal place to bring your camera to with scenic views at every twist and turn. Visit the park to enjoy the fresh air or participate in fun activities such as biking, camping, and fishing for kokanee salmon and rainbow trout. You’ll also find two reservoirs that form the heart of the park and give it an additional focal point. It’s a true place of beauty that’s worth checking out more than once.
Cheyenne Botanic Gardens
Speaking of bringing your camera places, Cheyenne Botanic Gardens will have you reaching for your shooter more often than you think. The garden is home to various displays of plants, trees, shrubs, and flowers. You’ll also find a community vegetable garden and greenhouse which you can tour while you’re there. If you’ll be bringing the kids, the Paul Smith Children’s Village is filled with family-friendly activities. Overall, Cheyenne Botanic Gardens serves as an ideal location for exploring the world of Wyoming’s vegetation and organic life.
Cheyenne Street Railway Trolley
Rounding off our list is the Cheyenne Street Railway Trolley. If you’re looking to get a tour of the capital of Wyoming, this is the perfect way to do so.
