2019 Chevrolet Silverado 1500

<p>Three cab styles are offered — regular, double, and crew cab — and you can also opt for either a short, regular, or long bed. You can choose from eight different trims: Work Truck, Custom, Custom Trail Boss, LT, RST, LT Trail Boss, LTZ, and High Country. With the Work Truck comes a single-outlet exhaust, 17-inch steel wheels, black recovery hooks, twelve cargo tie downs, daytime running lights, halogen headlights, cargo-area lights, and a locking tailgate.</p> <p>The Custom trim features 20-inch aluminum wheels, deep-tinted glass, heated mirrors, LED taillights, and a polished exhaust tip, while the off-roading-focused Custom Trail Boss offers 18-inch aluminum wheels, Goodyear Wrangler Duratrac off-road tires, performance red recovery hooks, and the Z71 off-road package. With the LT trim, you'll get 17-inch aluminum wheels, a tailgate with EZ lift and lower assist, and LED headlights with LED daytime running lights. The RST trim offers added features like a 17-inch full-sized spare steel wheel, 18-inch aluminum wheels, and LED fog lamps.</p> <p>The other off-roading trim, the LT Trail Boss, is similarly equipped to the Custom Trail Boss, but also features a dual exhaust and some special exterior trim. With the LTZ comes a driver-side auto-dimming mirror and a chrome grille and center bar, while the High Country trim adds 20-inch aluminum wheels, chrome recovery hooks, LED headlights with LED turn signals, and a power up/down tailgate.</p>

<p>The standard engine featured is a 4.3-liter EcoTec3 V-6 mated to a six-speed automatic that's good for 285 horsepower and 305 pound-feet of torque. With the LT and RST trims, you'll get a 2.7-liter Turbo engine paired with an eight-speed automatic that generates 310 horsepower and 348 pound-feet of torque. The LT Trail Boss, LTZ, and High Country trims get a 5.3-liter EcoTec3 married to an eight-speed automatic that produces 355 horsepower 383 pound-feet of torque. This engine is also available with a six-speed automatic.</p> <p>Other available engines include a 6.2-liter V-8 mated to a 10-speed automatic that kicks out 420 horsepower and 460 pound-feet of torque and a 3.0-liter Duramax turbodiesel.</p>

<p>The new Silverado offers best-in-class bed width, best-in-class bed length for standard and short box, as well as best-in-class cargo volume. The newly-designed bed boasts high-strength steel, 12 standard tie-downs, and innovative available features, such as an industry-first power up/down tailgate.</p>

<p>An upscale interior equipped with the latest tech is featured with the 2019 Silverado. Standard equipment include a rear-vision camera, single-zone climate control, Bluetooth, Apple CarPlay and Android Auto compatibility, and a 7-inch display. Higher trims offer dual-zone automatic climate control, leather upholstery, remote keyless entry, a 4G LTE Wi-Fi hot spot, a leather-wrapped steering wheel, heated and ventilated front seats, navigation, SiriusXM, an auto-dimming rearview mirror, and a Bose premium sound system.</p>

<p>There are a few safety packages on offer with the Silverado. The basic package includes front and rear park assist, lane-change alert, and blind spot monitoring with rear cross-traffic alert. With the Safety II package comes added features like forward-collision warning, lane-keeping assist, automatic high beams, and forward pedestrian detection with braking.</p>
